Ben Francis

by Ben Francis 2005

I want you, because I can't have you.
Whenever my mind is blank, you fill the space.
When I think of you, I can think of nothing else.
Your elegence and quiet sophistication enchant me.

The spell distracts me, it comes without warning.
When it grips me, I am compelled to indulge.
When it leaves me, I'm afraid to divulge.

I know it's wrong, I hide it away.
I know you will come back, to haunt me.
But I keep coming back, for another taste.
Just one last time...
